As the old Romans said ‘Mens sana in corpore sana’ - a healthy mind in a healthy body. In fact, your mental flexibility will improve as well !
4) Strengthening your tendons
A different approach to physical training compared with ‘occidental sports‘, nevertheless very efficient to improve our body performance ! Long distance running trainers are appreciating this fact.
5) Improving the statics of the skeleton
Exercises like the whirlwind lead you to your bending limits of the spine, thus allowing you to extend your physical abilities.

Try to internalise the principles for moving exercises:

(1) Most exercises are comparatively slow. Don’t rush it.
(2) Avoid sharp pain, that comes quickly.
(3) Concentrate on achieving a fluent move. Stand in front of a mirror from time to time to see how it looks like.
(4) The breathing should come naturally. In most cases when you ‘close’ your body, there will be an exhaling. When the body is ‘opening’ or standing up, you will naturally inhale. When there are exceptions, they are stated in the descriptions.
(5) It is advisable to exercise 1-3 of the moving exercises daily after stretching.
(6) Be happy with your success ! Remember the first day you started and compare ...
